I will be hosting a College Application Day at school on Tuesday, October 22nd.  I have several recruiters from different colleges who will be present to assist seniors as they apply for colleges that they are interested in attending.  Most colleges require an application fee, so we might not be able to complete the application process for a student, if they do not have a method of online payment.  For those students, we will send instructions home to help parents complete the application.

Students will also be invited to attend the Jeff Davis Parish College & Career Fair on Monday, October 14th.  We will bus juniors and seniors to Jennings High School, where they will have the opportunity to visit with recruiters from colleges, universities, and technical/community/vocational colleges all over the state.

Registration is now open for the Class of 2020 to enter for a chance to win a $500 scholarship through Lela.org. Lela is Louisiana's top resource for college planning, and anyone who plans on going to college is eligible for a chance to win. Click on the link below to register for a chance to win.
